User deleted2004-09-13 06:12:57 | I really have no clue how these stats score points. |
NSKY2004-09-14 21:54:34 | something like this
(((kills/(wins+loss)) - (Deaths/(wins+loss)))*10^3)
but i want a better way, so if you have one post it |
User deleted2004-09-15 22:46:02 | Sup nsky, possible suggestion.
(((Kills/Games)*300)-((Deaths/Game)*250)+HitPercent)
you can even add wins/losses in by adding (Wins*50 - Losses*50) to the formula. A little more complex but it would make the stats easier to read I think. Sometimes I''ll have over 1.5 kills per game and still be in negative stats. Variables are changeable. |
NSKY2004-09-27 18:13:15 | Im testing your forumla now but the 10 first game a player will get 4000, 3600, 3200, 2800, 2400, 2000, 1600, 1200, 800, 400 less points. |
User deleted2004-10-11 23:47:11 | Hey Nsky
Another points formula you could try out...
(((Games - Deaths) * Kills)* (Kills Per Game +(Kills/Hits)))*Win
This formula focuses more on a players contribution to a team/the game rather than how many games they win.
It does mean that the players statistics are (in some cases) a lot different. But I feel it is a better reflection of the players individual skill.
Also, I noticed that Traapt''s formula gives points to people that didnt deserve them (e.g. a player that plays one game, dies and leaves). This Formula eliminates this as a player HAS to make a kill before they start getting points.
Take it or leave it. Its just something I''ve thought up while bored.
